HOW DO I GET THERE?
Morocco is attainable by direct flights from the UK, Germany and other major European airports
with flight time between 2-4 hours. From the airport you need 30 minutes by car to our Surf House.
If you book your flight destination to Casablanca or Marrakech to additionally require 2-3 hours in the car.

DO I NEED A VISA?
EU passport holders with a passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date do not require
a visa to enter Morocco for tourist purposes. Non EU passport holders is strongly recommend that you check
with your nearest Moroccan Embassy.

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
Children of all ages are welcome but we do not have specialised child care facilities

HOW ABOUT CASH? WHERE CAN I GET IT?
The Moroccan currency is the Dirham. There are exchange facilities and ATMs in the airport. There are also plenty of ATMs in Agadir. There are no ATM’s in Taghazout, the nearest is Aouria, a five minute drive from Taghazout. This machine and many other ATMs in Morocco do not accept Maestro and can be unreliable, if you have a VISA card we recommend you bring it.

Please note: traveller‘s cheques are not a good idea for Morocco. They cannot be exchanged at the airport or in Taghazout and there are only a few places in Agadir that will change them.

CAN I USE MY PHONE? IS THERE INTERNET?
Nearly all European networks work in Morocco. Contact your provider for call charges. Coverage is good. There are an abundance of public phones (coin and cards) in Taghazout. International call charges are relatively cheap. There is free WiFi available in our Surf House.

WHAT IS THE SURF AND THE WEATHER LIKE? WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT?
Morocco is an all year round destination for great surf and great weather. We have open the hole year.
During the winter months the waves, made Morocco famous.

Please note: Warm clothes are needed particularly in winter when the evenings can be chilly.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Morocco is a tolerante muslim country, men and women are welcome to wear shorts and t-shirts. Swimsuits and bikinis are normal on the beach or hotel poolside but it is advisable to cover up your arms and legs a bit when walking around. Don‘t forget your camera to take some beautiful pictures of morocco.

WHAT ABOUT MY GLASSES?
Contacts are a practical alternative if you wear prescription glasses.

WHAT ABOUT ALCOHOLIC DRINKS?
Although Islam forbids the consumption of alcohol by Muslims, alcoholic drinks can be legally served and sold
throughout the country. Morocco even produces its own range of wines and beers. Alcohol is not sold in
Tamraght but can be bought in Agadir, we can arrange taxis for all guests who wish to buy alcohol from Agadir.

MEDICAL INFORMATION
No vaccinations are required for visitors to Morocco and anti-malarial precautions are not necessary. We have first aid equipment along with staff trained in administering first aid. In case of an emergency, there are hospitals and clinics in Agadir. Medical charges will apply according to the treatment received so make sure you have travel insurance before you arrive. There is a well stocked pharmacy 5 min. away which is open everyday.
